FAQs / Terms and Policies for Portrait Session
1) What type of photography services are available? Embrace Photo is available for weddings, engagements, family, children, senior portraits and special events.
2) Do you have a studio? Yes, we do have a studio for a more formal portrait sitting. In addition, we also encourage you choose a location that best fit YOUR style,somewhere that brings some memories to you, or a location will make you feel at ease and relax. For example, a park that you like to go to, or in the comfort of your own home where you'll feel most comfortable. Depending on what you're looking for, we can work with you in deciding where to have your photos taken.
3) When is the portrait session fee due? We require a non-refundable retainer of 50% at the time of booking to reserve your session. The rest of the balance is due at the end of the session. Other costs such as prints, enlargements or albums are due at a later time after you have selected out what photos you like and what prints you want to make. (Please refer to wedding deposit policy below in the wedding section).
4) Can we purchase the digital files of our session? Digital files are available for purchase if you choose to go a la carte. If not, depending on what packages you choose, will include a number of digital files. These files will include general retouches (removing blemishes and soften lines).
FAQs / Terms and Policies for Wedding
1) Wedding Save the Date: we encourage booking from 6 months to a year in advance. In order to secure your wedding date, we require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of your total balance. Anoher 40% is due two weeks before the wedding. The remaining 30% is due at the time of album/prints pickup. After we see you for a consultation, we will put your wedding date tentatively for 3 weeks on our calendar. If we don't receive your retainer and contract agreement after the 3 weeks has passed, the wedding date will become available for future clients. Rest assured that when you are booking with us, we will be there. We do work with our partner studio so should there be an extremely unexpected event, there will always be our associate photographer whom will cover your event.
2) What are the types of payments? We accept checks or money orders.
3) Travel expense: All of our wedding packages include travel up to 100 miles round-trip from the studio. Additional travel incur a charge of $1.00/mile
4) Wedding postponement or cancellation: in either situation, the retainer paid is not refundable. In the event of an unexpected wedding postement of up to 6 months, and should the date be available, we won't incur any additional costs. We will work around this on the individual basis.
